Broken growing tip

A lot of our baby hop plants came with broken tips. They are recooping fast, sending out side arms with new tips that will soon be climbing up the coir.

Fuggles

Our two Fuggles have grown way beyond the nursery's 8-foot top wire. They started off in April as hearty rhizomes and have just thrived.

Chinook Leaf

This Chinook leaf is about as big as my hand. Not bad for its first year!  

Ladybug eggs

These eggs are more than welcome in our hop nursery because ladybugs help control the aphid population.
